So after Richard Coote's blog regarding the 10 things he hates, I thought I would do the opposite and blog about 10 things I love. And here they are in no particular order of importance;
1 Friends- All kinds, I love having lots of friends, from the ones you have known so long they feel family, the ones who you know will be there for you even if it's 2 o'clock in the morning to the ones make you smile with just a goodmorning message online.
2 Long walks in nature- I love to take in all the beauty this earth has to offer and marvel at it's creation. I especially love the crunching sound of dried autumn leaves underneath my feet.
3 A good book- Not just one where you remember the plot and read when you are bored, but the kind of book that sucks you in so deep that you get lost in it's world and you can't turn the page fast enough let alone wanna put it down.
4 Looking great- I dont think anyone (guys and girls alike) would disagree with me on this point. There is nothing quite like the feeling you get when you have that drop dead gorgeous outfit on that just fits right on your body showing all your assets perfectly and hiding your flaws, and your hair all done just makes you feel awsome. ( and who doesn't like feeling awsome?)
5 Certain smells- The smell of my favourite and only choice of perfume; Pleasures by Estee lauder and the smell of a man wearing CK one.
6 Tastes- The taste of Woolies malva pudding all hot and steamy with full cream dripping over it YUM! (especially good when accompanied by friends after a good meal)
7 Children- Of all ages, shapes, sizes and races. They are so innocent and yet full of cheeky fun! I love their carefree nature and simple outlook on life. ( I could write a whole blog on why I love teaching)
8 Pets- I have a sausage dog, a jack russel and a boxer. Their unconditional love astounds me. I could be angry with them in the morning, shout at them and yet when I get home that evening they will still greet me by wagging their tail in delight.
9 Music- I love all kinds of music. I love the way a a good song can lighten your mood when you are feeling down, an upbeat pop song can make you wanna get up and shake your booty and a sad love song can remind you of an ex lover or how classical music can soothe your soul.
10 My Family- Mychildren whom I believe do not rightfully belong to me but are souls whom a greater being I choose to call God has entrusted to me for safe guarding while on this earth and the man whom I love!!!
These are the ten things I love the most in this world, I notice upon reflection that I managed to cover the five senses; smell, taste, hear, see, touch!

Why I blog...
I use this blog as a kind of therapy. Sometimes I'm happy and want to share it, sometimes it's just a random thought and sometimes it's to deal with things in my past. After all a burden shared is a burden halved

social media #FTW
Hello world,
I could never understand why someone would want to read someone else's thoughts but it seems that blogging has become a new form of therapy! instead of paying huge amounts of money to a pshycologist to listen to you go on and on about your weird and strange ramblings people actually write them down (which in it self is quite theraputic I'm finding) and surprise surprise other people actually read them and comment!! So being the type of person who hates being left out of anything (mostly just because I'm a curious person by nature) I have decided to try this blogging thing! So since this is my first blog I will keep it simple and to the point, I just wanna say a big thank you to Lizzi Miller for being brave and finally showing the world what a real woman's body looks like! In case you are not sure what I am reffering to check out http://bit.ly12kfjw/
I am so tired of the usual stick thin models who are constantly in your face on the cover of every fashion magazine telling you, you are just never gonna be good enough!! I have come to the realisation that your body shape is not what defines you and is in no way a reflection of the person you are inside. As we age our body changes and the "outer shell" as I like to call it gets older but our inner spirit is still the same. I am discovering new friends every day through social media's like twitter and facebook, and getting to know the inner person first as I feel this is so much more important than the visual of their "outer shell" I am pleasantly surprised everytime I attend a tweet up to find the people I have gotten to "know online" are just as lovely in person too. There is also that feeling like you have known each other for years and there is no need for any awkward ice-breakers. (also I find throwing a little alcohol in the mix does help too.)
So in conclusion!!! more social media and more tweet ups !!!! Bring it on
